The Club's Annual Dinner was held at the Peacock Inn, Lincoln on Friday (18^th Jan, 2008); it was impressive to have a near 100% turnout from club members, with perhaps only three unable to attend this year. The evening commenced with John H passing out the year's lottery winnings - a splendid £16 per entrant! We also had the honour of receiving a touching note from Mark's widow, thanking the Club for its donation to the St Barnabus Hospice.

The beers and sparkling waters then flowed for half an hour or so before dinner was served. Rather than last year's horse shoe table, we sat this year at three separate tables, though this had no affect on the quality or quantity of conversation or social congregation of the Club's members.

The food as before, was of excellent quality, and with rather generous servings all were happy. Such was the level of culinary excellence, it was noted that only two members were able to squeeze in any dessert! Jim did his part by passing round a camera to capture different perspectives of the evening, rather than one or two posed photos, as last year. The results of such can be seen below.
